The 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards Nominees and Honorees were announced last night by council president Diane von Furstenberg. Marc Jacobs is to receive the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award at the ceremonies on June 6, although he told von Furstenberg that he preferred it be a “half-lifetime” award, seeing as he’s only 47.
